Call for Tenders for the project "GoodCorp: worker participation rights in EU company law"

The European Trade Union Institute organizes a call for Tenders for the project “GoodCorp: worker participation rights in EU company law”. The deadline for the submission of the bid is on the 6th of December 2024.

The task required here shall be to monitor EU discussions on the need for company law initiatives, to develop concepts and proposals for the inclusion of workers’ rights and a broader stakeholder approach in company law, and to monitor the EU legislative process and the national transposition of relevant EU legislation. To this end, the GoodCorp network will be run as a source of collaborative, multinational, and multidisciplinary expertise in this area. Furthermore, support in the running a specialized network of country-level experts on Monitoring and Assessing Company Law Transposition (Monaco) is required. The expert will also support the ETUI in its function of advising the ETUC on European Corporate Governance and Company law.

The following tasks are requested:

December 2024- March 2026

  • Coordination of GOODCORP Group: at least three meetings.
  • Coordination of up to 4 ETUI Policy Briefs, Technical Briefs or training materials.
  • Case by case support in monitoring board-level employee representation (BLER) in SEs, CBMs, CBDs and cross-border conversions.
  • Update of European Participation Index with newly available data.
  • Organisation of two workshops on workers’ participation and the European Green Deal between April 2025 and February 2026.
  • Continual update of European Company Law/Corporate Governance Section and Worker Participation and Sustainability Section of the worker-participation.eu website.
  • Supervision and analysis of the results of the Monitoring and Analysis of Company Law Transposition (Monaco) project.
  • Coordination of the development of transposition recommendations for the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
  • Topical advice on European Corporate Governance and Company Law for the ETUC and its affiliates.

Tasks for the period April 2026 through March 2027 will be determined if the contract is renewed for that period (subject to a favourable evaluation).
