Towards a renewable and participatory future: a Guide to building Energy Communities

Made within the Project of Specialisation and Territorial Competitiveness (PECT) "Circular B30", this guide offers a complete overview of the creation and management of Energy Communities at the Territori B30.

Aimed to the public as well as stores, local businesses and public administration, the Guide has been created because of a need to make collective actions that lead to a sustainable future, that puts the consumer in the middle as well. So, the main goal of the Guide is to promote sustainability within the Vallès region and the creation of a community withing the framework of energy transition, while contributing to the mitigation of the climate emergency.

Making up to the 25% of the industrial waste in Catalonia, the Territori B30 is a key region for the proper energy transition of the territory. With a specific road map, set of tools and proper and real examples for an effective implementation of Energy Communities, the guide ensures to guarantee the needs and challenges of the territory.
