A new edition of the BoFestival with music, circus and dance at the UAB
On Saturday 19 October the UAB will be holding a new edition of the BoFestival, a festival of artistic experiences with local artists and sustainable activities in natural surroundings.
The BoFestival is a cultural experience of live arts in unique places, an attractive itinerary open to everyone to discover contemporary artistic proposals that maintains, in its fourth edition, the UAB as the festival's headquarters.
Thus, the woods of the UAB will host next Saturday 19 October, between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., an artistic walk with circus artists, dancers, musicians and performers. Throughout the walk, visitors will enjoy a total of six performances adapted sustainably to generate the least possible impact on the land. More information on the festival and full programme can be viewed on this website.
One day before, on Friday 18 October, a street theater show at the Parc de les Morisques in Sant Quirze will be the opening of this edition of the BoFestival.
The festival is interested in artistic proposals with reflection and dialogue with the environment, to facilitate the connection between the artistic piece, the land and the audience. The artists invited to the BoFestival present works created specifically for the chosen spaces and share their experiences with us, so that each spectator can approach them from their own point of view and experience.
Another festival activity
The festival also proposes thought encounters with UAB collaborators that focus on creation, nature and sustainability, as well as social action from a creative and at the same time critical, transversal and inclusive point of view. This year, the festival will be held on Wednesday 27 November at the UAB Theater Hall with the show Calidoscòpica by Sònia Gómez and Encarni Espallargas, part of the 4th Artistic and Inclusive Week that will be held on campus between 25 and 28 November.
The BoFestival is an initiative organised by the production company and artistic projects agency Elclimamola with the collaboration of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the Sant Quirze del Vallès City Council and the Ministry for Culture of the Government of Catalonia.
