The UAB opens two virtual spaces with support tools for lecturers and students
The UAB opens two new spaces on its Campus Virtual with support tools both for lecturers and for students. The spaces include resources and materials that can be used for the teaching activities conducted by lecturers, as well as an improved university experience for students. These two dynamic spaces will be updated regularly to provide lecturers and students with useful resources and materials.
The space dedicated to the teaching staff provides lecturers with tools associated to the areas of inclusion and attention to diversity, teaching methodologies, learning assessments, ITC tools, gender-perspective in teaching, and artificial intelligence. The other space, dedicated to students, provides information and resources focused on academic studies, specific programmes, aids and grants, student participation, activities that can be validated for credits, computer services, employment and entrepreneurship, languages, wellbeing and health, culture, sports, volunteering and community participation, etc.
At the beginning of October these spaces were made available to lecturers and students of the Faculty of Science as a pilot programme. Both groups gave positive feedback on the sites, and several issues were brought up by lecturers and students alike. Now, the spaces have been made available to all lecturers and students from the UAB.
