The UAB publishes the 2025 work calendar
The 2025 work schedule establishes national and local holidays, as well as the PTGAS's regular workday, which will be 7 hours a day, except for the intensive workday period in July and August, which will be 6 hours.
The 2025 work calendar establishes the length of the working day (7 hours per day, except during the intensive working day in July and August, which will be 6 hours) and the national and local holidays at the different UAB campuses (Barcelona-campus, Sabadell and Badalona).
During the Easter period, from 14 to 24 April 2025, UAB work centres will be closed.
During the period from 1 to 31 July, and during the month of August, there will be an intensive day of 6 hours. Due to the beginning of the intensive school day and in order to favour family and work conciliation, an intensive school day may be requested between 1 and 30 June and 1 and 30 September. In application of the applicable regulations in force, the UAB PTGAS will have 22 days of vacation, apart from those corresponding to seniority. The ordinary vacation period of the PTGAS will be between the months of July and August, and vacation will be prioritised during the month of August. Outside the regular period, vacation days may be taken, according to the needs of the service, all in a row or separately with full days until 31 January 2026.
During the Christmas holidays, the UAB work centres will remain closed during the non-teaching period from 1 to 6 January, and from 22 to 31 December 2025.
On the eve of public holidays, it is established that people who have a schedule with a different working day on Fridays may enjoy, as long as service needs allow it, the flexibility margins of Fridays on 30 April, 23 June and 10 and 23 September.
Finally, regarding the schedules for personal matters, it is established that, in accordance with the annual working day calculations resulting from the application of the working calendar, the PTGAS of the UAB will have 15 hours of regularisation for the year 2025 (apart from the hours of personal matters that correspond to seniority).
