Do something more than a Final Degree Project!

Next Wednesday, March 18th from 1 pm to 2 pm, a formative session under the titled “Do something more than a Final Degree Project!” will take place addressed to students of all faculties on the possibility of carrying out their Final Degree Project linked to real needs of society. The conference is promoted by UAB ApS Office managed by the foundation Fundació Autònoma Solidària.

This session aims for students to know the possibility of carrying out their Final Degree Project framed in Aprenentatge Servei or ApS (Learning Service). This is a significant learning methodology that consists in allowing the student to develop their academic skills while serving a community, whether in social entities, educative or health centers, e.g.

This session will be attended by students that currently are carrying out their projects with this methodology. They will explain what doing the project with ApS brings them, what it implies and why did they decide to choose this option and which kind of link they had with the entity or center that posed them challenges. Finally, a representative of ApS Office will explain the steps to follow by students interested to develop their this kind of Final Degree Project next year and how they can suggest a entity or associations with whom they would like to collaborate.
