Inclusive Artistic Week kicks off with Des-Concert, a show that merges clowning and poetry
Cultural performances kick off Inclusive Artistic Week on Monday 25 November with Des-Concert, a theatrical piece that can be enjoyed at 12:00 noon at the UAB Theatre Hall.
A clown performance resulting from the collective theatrical experience of the actors and actresses.
The Trastero de las Artes Company presents its Des-Concert project with the support of the Institut Municipal de Persones amb Discapacitat (IMPD), all within the Temps per a tu programme. This activity is designed for young adults with disabilities and aims to introduce them to the world of performing arts and all its facets.
Des-Concert seeks to create a distinctive atmosphere within clowning by merging it with poetry, aiming to captivate the UAB audience. The actors and actresses have crafted a collective creation from scratch, presenting new ideas and developing fresh characters that push the boundaries of clowning. It’s a fully interactive and community-driven creation process, providing the actors with a genuine and unparalleled theatrical experience.
This show is the result of maximum collaboration among the actors, leading to a transcendental creative innovation. Des-Concert proposes a poetic journey where the audience can enjoy cutting-edge and diverse work, blending the imagination of actors and actresses with a job well done. A synthesis of elements such as poetry, music, and choreographic pieces culminates in an unmatched combination that is uniquely shaped by the minds of the Des-Concert cast.
