This year's Literary Award winners were announced in May, in an awards ceremony held at the UAB.

This year is the first time that a prize is awarded equally to two participants. This was the case of the 29th “Miquel Martí i Pol” Award in Poetry, in which the jury unanimously concurred on the high quality of both winning works: Josep Antoni Aguilar Àvila, with his Ballar amb els espectres, and Josep Domènech Ponsatí, with Eixint de fer.

Carla Clúa Alcón became the winner of the 15th "Catarina Albert" Award in the Youth Short Story category for her Pausa, sucre, Sevilla, while Miquel Ribas Figueras received the 30th "Valldaura-Memorial Pere Calders" Award for his novel Ilha do Farol

The event was attended by representatives of the Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council, headed by Mayor Carles Cordón; the UAB Vice-Rector for Innovation and Strategic Projects Rosa María Sebastián; and winning authors Miquel Ribas Figueras and Josep Domènech (Carla Clúa and Josep Antoni Aguiler were unable to attend, but did send in a video to show their appreciation for winning the award).

The published works can be bought online from the UAB Publishing Services as well as in other bookstores.
