The Society for Economic Dynamics' annual meeting to unite over 700 economists at the UAB
The annual meeting of the Society for Economic Dynamics will take place from 27 to 29 June. The event is organised by the Barcelona School of Economics in collaboration with the UAB. The sessions will take place at the School of Engineering and the Faculty of Arts & Humanities.
There will be three plenary sessions in the auditorium of the UAB (Faculty of Arts & Humanities) and many parallel sessions that will take place in various areas of the School of Engineering. The plenary lectures will be given by Veronica Guerrieri (Chicago Booth), expert in macroeconomics, financial markets and growth theory, among other topics; Lars Peter Hansen (University of Chicago), expert in economic dynamics; and Stefanie Stantcheva (Harvard University), expert in political economy and founder of the Social Economics Lab.
This event will bring together more than seven hundred economists. Jordi Caballé and Joan Llull, lecturers in the Department of Economics and Economic History at the UAB, are part of the meeting's local committee, along with Albert Marcet and Raül Santaeulàlia. The Society for Economics Dynamics promotes and supports economic research. In addition to organising its annual meeting, it publishes the Review of Economic Dynamics and the Economic Dynamics Newsletter.
