UAB awarded Certificate in Sustainability

Coolmyplanet has recognised the UAB as one of the most environmentally sustainable higher education institutions in the world.

Coolmyplanet, in collaboration with UI GreenMetric World Universities Ranking, has created a programme which confers recognition to the world's 50 most sustainable universities. The programme is based on the data provided by the universities to elaborate the GreenMetric ranking by the University of Indonesia.
 
As stated in the certificate, “the UAB has implemented environmentally friendly and sustainable policies and programs during the year 0f 2014 that shows the commitment to addressing the problems of sustainability and environmental impact”.
 
With the certificate, the entity recognises and congratulates the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and all its students “for putting your effort and concern together to reach a more sustainable environment in our ecosystem”.
