UAB student Iman El Kabiri wins first prize in Spain for her TFG in Criminology
On 18 October, Faculty of Law student Iman El Kabiri received an award from the Spanish Society of Criminological Research (SEIC) for Best Final Degree Project (TFG) in Criminology out of all the projects presented in Spain. Her project is entitled Recidivism: evaluating the influence of pre-incarceration, in-prison, and post-release factors.
The SEIC Award is aimed at criminology students and is intended to encourage and promote criminological research at the university level. In addition, it also recognises the contributions made by students of various Spanish universities in their final projects in criminology.
This award is organised by the Spanish Society of Criminological Research (SEIC), an organisation made up of researchers and academics working in the field of criminology in Spain. The SEIC was founded in 2000 with the main objective of promoting criminological research and studies, both in the academic and institutional spheres.
