Since the 1980s until now, there has been a significant change in the approach to addictive diseases with all kinds of social and healthcare resources. Therefore, it is necessary to continue with initiatives and programs that help address the challenge that our lifestyle brings and to train more addiction professionals to meet the social and healthcare demand with the aim of promoting the mental and physical health of individuals.
Living in a society that has made it possible to enjoy a care network that better meets the needs of various addictions requires health professionals to have the capacity for analysis, reflection, and adaptation to face new situations in the healthcare system.
