Master's Degree in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation

The master's degree in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation aims to train professionals in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation tasks aimed at adult and child-juvenile patients with acquired or congenital brain damage (stroke, craniocerebral trauma, brain tumors, infantile cerebral palsy...) or neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, autistic spectrum...).

Upon completion of this master's degree, the student will be able to:

1. Learn in depth the main pathologies that cause brain damage or neurodevelopmental disorders and that can lead to neuropsychological alterations.

2. Carefully use the main instruments used in the neuropsychological assessment of adult and child-juvenile patients with acquired or congenital brain damage.

3. Adequately administer the main neuropsychological assessment tools in the care of children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.

4. Be able to write neuropsychological reports in the field of rehabilitation of patients with acquired or congenital brain damage and population with neurodevelopmental disorders.

5. Design and implement neuropsychological rehabilitation programs for adult and child-juvenile patients with acquired or congenital brain damage and be able to monitor them in order to analyze their effectiveness.

6. Create, implement and monitor neuropsychological intervention programs for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.

7. Acquire basic methodological skills to carry out clinical research with patients with neuropsychological disorders of neurological origin.
