The Computing Services (SID) at Sabadell supports the different users (students, academic and administrative staff) of the 2 cdntres (School of Engineering and Faculty of Economics and Business Studies). Sabadell Campus has two computerized classrooms where students can do free use of computers.
A teacher form one of two centers based in Sabadell Campus assumes the figure of coordinator for the proper functioning of the classroom and laboratory practices.
The SID Campus Sabadell is also in charge of managing the servers and everything related to communications building.
Services offered:
- Personal accounts for network access for all users (Students, Acamdemic and Administrative Staff).
- Use of software.
- Wi-fi connection.
- Access to personal account from home (via web).
- User support.
- Support for multimedia transmissions,
There are four computer rooms with connected to the network and with software required for teaching: two rooms of free use with 25 PCs each one and capacity for 42, and two for teaching (with 31 PCs each one). All computersare renewed every four years.
