Maite Núñez presents "Esta espera que lo envenena todo"
On 1 April Maite Núñez, manager of the academic area in the UISAD of the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies of the UAB, presented her book of short stories Esta espera que lo envenena todo.

Call for MOOC creation and production grants now open
The call, which is open to UAB lecturers and adminstration and services staff, aims to foster the creation of graduate and continuous learning courses. The application period will be open from 1 May to 30 June 2025.

Eighth edition of the "Thesis in 4 Minutes" competition to be held on 8 May
The UAB will be holding a new edition of its "Thesis in 4 Minutes" competition, in which PhD students present their thesis during a maximum of four minutes. The deadline for applications has been extended to 21 March 2025. The finalists will be able present their work in front of a panel of judges on 8 May.

The Catalan Association of Science and Technology Studies is born
Researchers from different universities and research centres in Catalonia, including the UAB, have created the Catalan Association of Science and Technology Studies (STS-CAT). The official presentation will take place on 28 February at 9:30 a.m. at the Barcelona Research Residence. The inaugural lecture will be given by Wiebe E. Bijker, one of the leading thinkers in this field.

Open Days February 2025: Last place available!
The UAB campus will open its doors to future students on 5 and 6 February, and offer online sessions on 7 February.

First semester evaluation surveys
The evaluation surveys for the first semester of the 2024/25 academic year corresponding to the teaching performance of faculty members and subjects/modules will be available until 17 January 2025.
