Pedro Pascual Collection
Collection of documents by Dr. Pedro Pascual de Sans (1934-2006), Catalan physicist born in Sevilla, professor at the University of Valencia (1963-1971) and since 1971 at the University of Barcelona. The collection is one of the most important personal scientific archives for the history of Spanish physics and contemporary scientific politics.
Description of the collection: It consists of correspondence (1408) from Dr. Pascual between the years 1962 and 2002; numerous administrative documentation on the Interuniversity Group of Theoretical Physics (G.I.F.T.), the Academic Committee of the University of Barcelona, the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation, the Parc Científic de Barcelona and others; and 43 manuscript notes of Physics topics. In total, this is about 3,400 documents related to the intense teaching, administrative and research activity in the area of physics and the scientific policy of Dr.Pascual, belonging to the Center of Sciences of Benasque Pedro Pascual, which has authorized the digitization and dissemination of this fund.
