Legal notice on the processing of personal data

In accordance with the provisions of articles 13 and 14 of (EU) Regulation 679/2016, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data (RGPD), we inform you that your personal data will be processed for the purpose of sending you information about the studies, services and activities of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), and to manage, where appropriate, your assistance or participation in information and orientation activities.

By completing and sending the form you are giving consent for the processing of your personal data for the purposes indicated above, in accordance with article 6.1.a of the RGPD.

Likewise, and depending on the information requested, sending the form implies your consent so that your personal data may be transferred to the institutions responsible for teaching the studies or carrying out the activities, or that provide services at the UAB in the areas of your request (processors).

The UAB will also process your personal data in compliance with a mission in the public interest or in the exercise of public powers, in accordance with article 6.1.e of the RGPD, in relation to Organic Law 2/2023, of March 22, of the university system.

We inform you that, in those activities that are carried out in virtual format, your name and surname or session identifier will be visible to the rest of the participants during the development of the session. Likewise, your image and voice will be accessible to the rest of the attendees in the session if you have the microphone or camera activated.

The sessions may be recorded in audiovisual format, and the recording may be published on the UAB institutional website, as well as on the websites of the attached schools or centers linked to the UAB and on the social network profiles of the UAB. one another.

If, for reasons related to a particular situation, you do not want your identity to be recognized, you can disable the audio or video option on your device.

The face-to-face information and orientation activities organized by the UAB or in which the UAB participates may also be recorded in audiovisual format, and the recording may be published on the UAB institutional website, as well as on the websites of the affiliated schools or centers linked to the UAB and on each other's social media profiles.

Apart from the previous provisions, the UAB will not transfer your personal data to third parties or other recipients without your consent, except in the cases legally provided for or when it is mandatory.

In accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data, you can revoke your consent at any time and exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation of processing and portability of data by means of a request addressed to the person responsible of the treatment, the head of the UAB' Communication and Promotion Area, through the email promocio@uab.cat, or at the General Secretariat of the UAB, Bellaterra University Campus, Rectorate Building, Academica Square S/N, 08193, Bellaterra (Cerdanyola del Vallès).

Likewise, you can submit complaints to the Catalan Data Protection Authority (apdcat.gencat.cat/ca/inici/) and make any queries you consider necessary to the UAB Data Protection Delegate (proteccio.dades@uab.cat).
