This year 2011 marks the bicentenary of the birth of the French mathematician Evariste Galois (1811-1832). This exhibition and website have been done in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics Teachers and scientists want to discover and playful aspects of Galois theory, explaining the mathematical basis which remain valid today. |
