Erasmus BIP Incoming Students
The Erasmus+ Programme, programme KA131 2021/27, facilitates students and staff's academic stay at a university in an EU member state or in third countries associated with the Program (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the Republic of North Macedonia , Serbia and Turkey).
Blended Intensive Programme courses (BIP) are short-term periods of study abroad for students and staff combined with an obligatory virtual part where participants meet on line to work together and simultaneously on specific tasks that are included in the period abroad and count towards the general learning outcomes. The objective of the course was to help students develop their intercultural competences, a high necessary skil in the professional life of any student, by working on three main components: a project on Citizen Science, different meetings with experts, and reflections on the topic of interest with the help of coach.
Students from Kaunas (Lithuania), Twente (the Netherlands) and Stavanger (Norway), after having taking several online theoretical classes these past few months, were able to meet face-to-face and bring their ideas together, while also discovering Barcelona and its local culture in order to prepare the final project for their micro-module.
